KSOY-Salusfin agreement

KSOY and Salusfin signed an agreement on September 29th, 2017. The agreement covers e.g. the use of smart thermostats and effects on energy consumption, demand response algorithms, security and safety features and energy consumption metering in real time. KSOY is a Finnish utility company with over 100 000 subscribers and electricity grid of 50 000 km.

EU-project to next level

General meeting of Helsinki’s housing association at Haapaniemenkatu 12 (Merihaka) made a decision to participate in mySMARTLife-project. As part of the project, Helen Oy and Salusfin will pilot demand response on district heated house. The objective is to install the solution in 12 district heated houses during this project. Salusfin will install individual heating controls in 170 apartments. With this Salusfin solution heating features can be adjusted based on individual needs on room level.

Highlights of 2016

The Salusfin Energy Solution is amplified with the “Demand Response” concept. Thus the energy companies are able to regulate the consumption and usage of energy in the consumer’s environment within the framework of the agreement without affecting the standard of living.
Andon Quality System is implemented for the Automation Platform.
mySMARTLife, a EU project began in December 2016. The project has a total of 27 parties. The project started with the lighthouses in Hamburg, Nantes and Helsinki. Salusfin’s share of the project involves the demand management of heat and personal smart electric car charging system. The temperature management by our demand response solution is set to be installed in 12 apartment buildings in Helsinki.
