Salusfin smart thermostat SF-500 is supplied by Danfoss (manufacturer’s own name: Living connect® Z).

Installation
Note! The thermostat can be installed only when the “M” figure is blinking on the screen.
- Long press for 4-5 s: “M” figure on display
Short press: first screen goes black, then a blinking “M” figure - When the piston is pulled in, the thermostat can be installed
- Once installed, a long press of 4-5 s: the thermostat will measure valve min/max positions
- After couple of seconds the temperature value is visible
- The thermostat is in operation.
The first 1-7 days after installation, the Living connect® Z is in a learning period and will optimize the heat control of the room.
When the voltage is getting low, the user interface will start blinking, indicating battery change. Standard AA-batteries are used.
Note! When changing batteries, pay attention to the correct battery direction in the chamber.
If you press accidentally the “Install” button, you will see the “M” figure. Wait for some time and the thermostat will regain normal operation.

Changing batteries

Turn the thermostat carefully for the battery chamber to point upwards. Remove the battery chamber lid. Remove the old batteries and insert new ones. Rechargeable batteries may not be used. Turn the thermostat in the right direction. Pay attention to the battery direction (see the picture below).
